Here's a question: how can someone be extremely envious of a sexual partner, while also being extremely sexually possessive of them at the same time, with rigid defenses against their sexual attraction in profound denial? Probably understand a few serial killers if you can answer that.

oh me too don't get me wrong, I just relisten to it as many times as I have to. Sometimes I listen to the same thing like 9 times. Bill Gates' book was having some sort of psychological effect on me where like 20 times was still not catching. I finally got through it.
I actually really struggle with audio books, I have tried and I can’t focus on them and get frustrated over bits I missed or didn’t process.

I’ve taken to walking while reading too which is nice.
The only time the reading gets to be a problem is when I do it before bed. My brain is goofy and can stay up for hours reading a book but be lulled to sleep if I read on my phone or watch something. Or when I accidentally eye strain myself.

No one controlling actually, probably past trauma on my part from something like that though. The amount of escapist fantasy I have read lately (and usually real) is a lot. Maybe I will read a psychology or history of medicine book next though, got several of those on my shelf begging to be read.

Been mostly reading fantasy escapism, I call it unhealthy personally because I realized how much I had read (finished a 300 page book in about 3 days) the last month and all the stress going on. I was in trouble a lot for reading as much as I do, growing up.
