Yes! I want to know about the PhDs of the people who run the cafeteria/meal plan. Because “everyone pitches in a couple shifts” does not feed that many people without some serious organization….

I’ve been volunteering as an Election Day poll worker, and thinking about applying for seasonal employment at the Board of Elections when I no longer have a day job…so I feel election conspiracy theory might be natural…

Here in Columbus, OH we just went from isolated case to measles outbreak. The first confirmed case’s sibling *and parents* now have measles.
So the parents probably thought “we weren’t vaccinated and we turned out OK”.

They are green and pretty in the summer…and full of bees when they bloom. (Tiny flowers hidden by the leaves. I didn’t realize soybeans had flowers until I kept bees and realized that there was more honey when the nearest field was in soy.). They dry out before harvest.

Is it at a height deer can reach? By the time I got my phone out, this guy had emptied the feeder, but he had his mouth over the bottom home and had tilted it to shade seed into his mouth.

Eh, I know it’s not me it’s that Diets Don’t Work. (At least not like that.)

Amusingly enough, the diabetes they were trying to prevent? Earned me a Mounjaro prescription, which caused me to lose 1 lb/week for a year, and I am below my Omada goal now. But still obese.

I left social events to eat my pre-planned meals alone.
I thought about food constantly.

I failed to meet the goal.

And I had a moderate binge eating disorder a month after Omada was over.
Regained the 12 lbs and 40 more in 4 years
Zero stars. Do not recommend.

I tried Omada in 2019. At that time, I think there was a human coach.
Rather than rewarding me for making lifestyle changes, it gave me the same old diet advice that always magically works out to be 1200 calories a day and set my goal as 1 lb a week for 16 weeks. 1/2
