Bottle 51 of 133. 58.4%. 16yo. Refill Hogshead.

Lovely stuff. Dominated by rich sticky toffee pudding.

It’s interesting. I saw it available this morning but let it pass. I see why they made it with the additional capacity, but it’s coming at a time when the 10yo is available again, so kind of feels a bit late to the party. The prices seems fine at under £50. Might buy one in a few years without fuss.

A friend went up to Campbeltown recently and was kind enough to pick me up a little something from Springbank’s shop.

I asked for a Longrow from the demijohn as it’s always going to be good. No idea what’s in this of course, but at cask strength you can’t go wrong for £60

I could not resist this multi-pack offer online. Yes it worked out about £20 more for the CS than normal retail prices, but getting hold of it at RRP seems near impossible these days.
