Caimo is a mess physically and mentally even with the crown, but performs their duties well. The hind foot was damaged at the time they were crowned, and they've never been able to fix it.

Regarding what they're talking about, it's the autumn rut for horned and antlered critters. The previous day, Anbrety and Leshy engaged in an antler-battle display in order to impress potential mates. It's a sort of bonding activity for masc-identifying antler-bearers, mutual wingmanning

In a story where Lamb was not crusading and fighting Gods, it may have found another father in Ratau. As a very busy adult dealing with matters of divinity, Lamb really doesn't think about the bad-at-gambling rodent in the woods. It's a bit sad, I think.

Also for context, standing normally on all eights, Nay is about as tall as Clauneck and Kuudai if they stood up
And the last of the seasons quartet, the God of Summer, Venaydor. He's the youngest of his group, and the same age as Kallamar. (The group's mentor, Cyrus, was among the first batch of Gods to ascend.)
