Let @johnlangan.bsky.social and his imagination take yours for a ride. Had the same elements I enjoyed in The Fisherman. Found myself often thinking about the ending.

Uh, some of us are also very much concerned with health care
Beyond the costumes at No Kings, Democratic leadership may want to check the signs to understand the vibe of their base right now (hint: it’s not health care)

What are some of the legit scariest books you’ve ever read? Full-on creepy, look-over-your-shoulder, freaked-out-to-be-home-alone stuff?
Whose work is giving you nightmares and getting under your skin?

I need some inspiration. 😃
The Books of Blood.1-6. Rawhead Rex, Dread, Jaqueline Ess: Her Will and Testament, In the Hills the Cities, New Murders in the Rue Morgue. I'll stop but also the Body Politic and The Age of Desire. So much twisted stuff I haven't even mentioned.
Re reading Halloween favorites. So far, The Stand, Salems Lot from S. King and Mysterium Tremendum by Laird Barron. Something Wicked must be coming my way.

Just re read it, I do every October. Mark Petrie Needs a book, a Vampire Book, hell throw in Holly while you're at it. Maybe have Charlie from Fire Starter?
This sucks that he died.
Yes, it's in the settings blood everywhere.

He gives $20 Billion of OUR dollars to bailout Argentina without consulting Congress or the American people. Does that seem like the actions of a KING to you?

Join us & let him know just what you think about that this Saturday, 10/18

Mess with the Takashi Miike mode. As well as the Kurosawa. I'm guessing you have already, but just in case you missed that.

The new trailer for THE RUNNING MAN is up. My IT guy will post it. I don't "get" posting on Bluesky. That's okay. I've seen the movie, and it's a balls-to-the-wall thrill ride. The feel is like a modern-day DIE HARD.

I really love all of Alma Katsu’s work and Alma Katsu as a person because she’s absolutely brilliant.

She’s also right, and sharing things we like is how we build a bigger ecosystem of support.
