They both have their pros and cons, for sure. Classic might take a weekend for lance on lance, but it sure makes mechs feel different from each other and I love that.

I've only played Classic a handful of times since the 90s. AS is easier to get in on a weeknight with the guys and lends itself to the larger battles. Gonna try teaching the boy how soon. He's got AS down.

It hasn't been a conscious choice, really...they just don't spring to mind when I'm list building. Always loved how they look, and now that I could easily field a lance of just them, it might happen more often.

But 28 pv for 3/3/1 & 12" is pretty damn good

IMHO, the #FireMoth is one of the most useful and annoying light omnimech. I have this one painted as the D variant, because I really don't like how #ralpartha did many of the missile racks on these mechs.

I don't normally gloss coat anything, but this one looked SO good that way...but it also made it difficult to photograph. I really feel it looks amazing in person and loses a lot here. Definitely one of my favorite models recently

I really don't understand the level of hate. I think the box set is super cool, and if you don't like it, don't buy it. Easy.
