That's the issue, the Republicans were betting on the fact that the Democrats would not let the government shut down. The Democrats have decided not to play the Republican game anymore. It's past time that local governments charge ice with intimidation, kidnapping, assault and numerous other offenses perpetrated against the people. If there are no warrants and they are detaining people utilizing scare tactics they are violating civil rights
