No child should have to endure what children in Gaza have faced.

Kieran King, our Head of Humanitarian, spoke to The Guardian about the devastating impact this war has had on children and families, and the vital work we are doing to support them:

Been talking about this trend for years when it comes to games spending. Why are there premium gamepads, $149 collector's editions, Pro consoles and general rising prices? Because the price-insensitive, affluent players are the ones doing more of the spending as everyone else shifts more to f2p.
things are getting more expensive because only rich people are spending. The top 10% of earners ($250k as a household) make up half of all consumer spending in the US. So, everything is being priced for them while Xbox leaves everyone else behind. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

But like - if you like books there are nice bookshops to go. If you like board games there are board game cafes. We have … PAX events? Gamescom? It’s hardly widening the circle. Our curators are twitch streamers; again, okay if you’re in that culture already but totally weird if not

I threw Vaporwave Pinball & Hellscreen into a bundle on again for the Brutal Indies Steam showcase & I have sold more copies this last 2 days then the entire year combined!

Get both my games for less then 5 quid / 6 dollars and see what the fuss is about.

Reform UK, which has a grand total of four MPs, was just given an uninterrupted platform for an hour and a half on the BBC and Sky News channels, in order to talk about its plans for mass deportations

When was the last time the Greens (with four MPs) or the Lib Dems (with 72) were given the same?

This tweet aged gracefully. In 2021 I was asked to do NFTs. 4 weeks of work for $1 million. I got harassed for months by cryptobros for saying no. The project went ahead without me and the offer was legit.

NFTs were and are a grift, peddled by the same techbros as AI

Wow, I don't even like the Spice Girls but you know that would have been entertaining!
There was going to be a Spice Girls anime, but they cancelled it. We were fucking ROBBED.

Very smart people have been saying this for a while

Unfortunately, retention is being used as an excuse for predatory practices and genuinely very dark stuff.

This isn't a retention based on respect, care, transparency, and quality.
I wish.

The attention economy is saturated and has been for a *while*.

We're no longer in an economy of audience-growth, but of audience-retention.

Had an awesome set of matches with a player in SF 3rd Strike on Arcade Club Leeds on their SEGA Versus City cab.

Having online is nice but it simply cannot compare with in-person matches and the ability to interact after each match.
