To me, selfishly, that means if I don't learn how to better use AI to help me, I might be redundant

I hate seeing people making snap decisions, and especially those that might displace people, but I get it. I don't pretend I might not do something similar.

I bet you could get that 45/100 up higher with a little analysis, experimentation, and careful evaluation

Sounds bad. Deploying AI didn't help them replace people and reduce costs.
