Which- is true. WWX is still incredibly dangerous. He had retired and went into hiding. A quiet back ground genius just… done with being a villain. But these new kids were running around took it upon himself to keep the real nasty villains away.
Like there are other budding villains they fight and threats they handle but the Biggest is the YLLZ. Who is way more over dramatic and goofy then they were told. He has fucking Lessons in them.
LWJ thinks about how WWX ends. Alone on a hill he will metaphorically and physically die on. Ruefully glaring down at HGJ before he is struck down. He doesn’t think he can do it.
LWJ frowns because he did, and he does remember when events come up or someone reminds him. He doesn’t remember the books having mentioned the Nie often.

But with WWX gone the CR seems so much quieter and colder. So while they help the other clans disembark LWJ is slightly suprised to see NHS hovering around.
This was a forgettable character. He thinks was a puppet to the corruption. As LWJ he knows it is his brother’s friend’s brother.
Who knew Zewu-Jun- who he has a part… he does. But he was the he sect leader and the do no wrong brother… something happens with him- was actually a match making bastard.

Which? He almost did! His impulses needed INSANE control! When WWX did leave it was with firm promises LWJ HAD to visit LP and with JWY- another bigger character who leads the attack on the YLLZ- telling him to leave LWJ alone. (Luckily WWX ignored him). LXC was smirking the whole time
He tried so so hard to make it casual and platonic. But with the way WWX lit up you would think he confessed. Worst he was hugged for it.- well not worst. The hug was nice but for his mental health having that pretty face that close to his made him want to kiss the hell out of WWX.

WWX being disciplined with LWJ as his tutor…. If this was how it went in the original HGJ book it was only the protagonist not seeing the romantic tropes…. WWX gave him gay BUNNIES?! BUNNIES?? (This did not happen originally)
I think if LWJ had a system he would be a fucking PILL to it.
Anyway- I think while the book follows to the MDZS for the most part- I don’t think WWX gets kicked out. Bc LWJ does stand up for him. Leaving- guess what-
He knows he isn’t as stiff as the original protagonist but he was never an emotive person. Introverted and slightly on the spectrum- and yet WWX will seek him out. Happily fill the silence. Come up with compromise.
