Two very enjoyable bus spins from Nenagh to Portumna on the LL322 and then onwards to Ballinasloe on the LL567.
It's not the usual place to start out on a day exploring "Ireland's Hidden Heartlands" by bus and rail.

First up is @irishrail 0900 Ballybrophy to Limerick, which I'll take to Nenagh from Roscrea.

HATS FLAGS AND HEADBANDS!!! A street trader on the corner of O'Connell St. & Abbey St. is doing great business for the All Ireland Football Final as 4002 waits to cross O'Connell Street on a Red Line tram service @luas
Up for the match!

The first of four @irishrail Kerry GAA Specials, the 0640 Tralee - Heuston passing Thurles 3 mins late with 6ICR Premier Class set 22033.

We're following behind on the 0825 Limerick Heuston with 22031 for a day in Dublin.
A lovely boat trip on the canals of Birmingham. Thanks to @brindley_cruises and tour guide Chris for looking after us.
After a great couple of days in London, we are now Birmingham bound for the night. A few WCML issues meant we hopped on the delayed 1216 EUS-BNS formed of 807002 (grab shot), so in effect, we're now early.

Oh and I saw the NSE Networker at Victoria!
London Transport Museum. Check them out. They also do plenty of other stuff such as hidden london tours. I've just explored disused parts of Holborn on one of those tours.
And a video of the 38 Stock passing to complement the picts.
A trip up to Arsenal this morning to see the heritage 1938 Stock train on a railtour from Ealing Broadway to Cockfosters, which is doing 2 return trips today.

Ya never know who you'll meet in London! A good catch up in The Harp before going our different ways at Charing Cross.

For the Railway fans. Note the Network South East clock on the departure board!

Back in the old haunts of Morden for the GAA match, where my Grandparents lived up to the early 90's (both sides of it). While changing from Tram to Bus at Mitcham, the bus stop was a stones throw from the house they lived in up to 1987, so I couldn't resist a photo.

A quick hop across the Irish Sea to Birmingham on FR666 and now speeding towards London on @avantiwestcoast 9M48 from Glasgow to London. Looking forward to (hot!) long weekend in London and Birmingham.
