A dream of mine to create and direct an adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera.
It will be animated with 2D to callback to the Disney Renaissance with the characters will anthropomorphic animals (a callback to a childhood book I read).
I have a cast listed and am writing-

Actually… it’s an adaptation of the musical. I don’t want to give away too many details, but it will be animated.
If and when I am able to pitch the idea, it’s probably to Universal since they most likely hold the rights.
I already have a cast set up. I have you as the Auctioneer in the Prologue.

I know how you feel. I STILL remember the day my grandfather took me to see the live 25th Anniversary performance of The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall. I was ten years old when I saw it, and it least a massive impact on me. Ever since, I wanted to do an adaptation of Phantom!
