Absolutely abominable. The Democratic leadership is afraid of frightening white “centrist”, racially triggered white voters that haven’t voted for Democrats in over 2 generations.

Again, your silence is so fucking vile and racist @housedemocrats.bsky.social What the hell is wrong with all of you?
Trump goes on another racist rant about Somalis: "Ilhan Omar should be thrown the hell out of our country, and most of those people -- they have destroyed Minnesota. It's a hellhole right now. Those Somalians should be out of here. They have destroyed out country ... go back to your own country."

Yes . The potential is certainly there. But Aftyn Behn ran as an unabashed progressive, which goes against Democratic leadership strategy. Behind Behn, on the platform where she gave a rousing concession “call to arms”, was a diverse core of supporters. Democrats should try and duplicate that.

Who else could be a Trump press secretary but a shameless liar like Karoline Leavitt, who has no professional reputation to maintain? She’ll exit to Fox after our national nightmare has ended.

It certainly was an unnecessary act of violence that should be condemned from all quarters. The shooter should certainly face justice and likely imprisonment. But why are no national Democrats questioning the political decision to deploy the National Guard in the first place?

How deep does racism need to be anchored in a country where a Charlie Brown character, Franklin, being seated on the same side of the table as Peppermint Patty, becomes a high executive level network issue?

The West Virginia National Guard should never have been in DC in the first place. If the state hadn't sent them, this wouldn't have happened. Let's frame this the way it should be framed.

Unfortunately, “violence has no place in America” is simply an empty platitude, completely oblivious to our shared history.

Yes. An unnecessary tragedy. All Americans should be united in condemning the violence. Just as you should be condemning the unnecessary political deployment of National Guard in the first place. Please sit your McKinsey consultant speaking ass down.

As I’m sure you know, the bailout was specifically for his white rural base, as he damaged them once again. Their allegiance to his support and reflection of their racial grievances binds them to him despite policies that hurt farmers and rural communities. The money helps smooth over bad feelings.

It’s not something that can be fixed in one cycle, although the Trump administration seems to be giving Democrats that opportunity. Democrats must remember that politics and policy happen downstream from culture. White rural republicans have been taught that Democrats are their enemy.

What in the actual fcuk? Trump is so nakedly self serving and favoring the wealthy and corporate campaign donors. His voters do not prioritize “affordability”, healthcare, women’s equality, etc. But Democrats refuse to understand that policy and politics happen downstream from (grievance) culture.

There are now more men with head coaching positions in the @wnba.com than women. This is inexcusable. As the success of the @wnba.com expands, the opportunities for women diminishes. Having an @nba.com pedigree doesn’t guarantee success as attested to by the fact of numerous men coaching failures.

The absolute tone deafening action of hiring yet another man in the WNBA, demonstrates the disregard for basketball and equality opportunities. This is willful blindness.

At what point are Democrats going to realize (along with our quiescent corporate media) that a majority of Trump supporters are enjoying the pain and suffering of Trump’s (and their) enemies more than they value their own economic and social wellbeing?

Why don’t Democrats call him a draft dodger?
