Thinking about the Caribbean or West Indies for one of next year’s DX contests. One criterion for choosing a destination will be how easy or hard it is to get a local license and call sign for a US citizen. Anyone have experience with this? Please share below.

Whale of a Day in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Gordon West brought his Mobile Communications Unit, N6AUX activated lighthouse USA-640, and a good time was had by all.

We logged 45 QSOs, including an ARISS QSO with WD9EWK in front of a cheering crowd that had gathered.
