Wu Yize was marvellous today — five 70+ breaks in a best-of-9 match is a rare feat, and he did it! As I expected, he’s well over 90% in both pot success and positional success (which basically means whether you can pot the next ball or not).

The EPSB Open Series season kicked off yesterday in Oldham, with Daniel Womersley winning the first event after defeating Simon Blackwell in the final. Michael Whaley played his first proper tournament after a 10-year absence.
