I think people from small towns have cultural tools for this, but everyone else is going to have to catch up.
I grew up in a town where the road that was supposed to follow a meridian was actually in the wrong place and so I have always wondered what it would be like to actually travel along a full meridian, kind of like an extreme geography version of hiking the Appalachian Trail.
I would buy all land along a meridian and clear it so people could walk an imaginary line on the globe.

I am flexible on which meridian so everyone can wheel and deal.
lets say a wizard has cursed you with a lot of money. you are going to become permanently brain damaged simply by being in possession of so much money. the only way out of it is to spend a lot of money on something ridiculous and not at all useful

what would you buy to break the curse?
On the plus side I did get to enjoy my favorite sandwich again, but it absolutely doesn't balance.
I am taking an unexpected trip to the city I grew up in and MAN, I am so spoiled by the not perfect but good and intentional urban forms of Seattle and Waterloo.

This level of car dependence is ... Broken.
Last night I dreamed I was in a Portland coffeehouse that would not serve coffee before sunrise, just Tea, Treats and THC when the sun wasn't out.

It was before sunrise so I had an amazing PurEh
I realized this morning that not only is kiddo better than me at something, they are even now better than I will probably ever be at it, and that is pretty cool.
Being older doesn't mean you know more. It just means you have had the time to get more reps in.

It also doesn't automatically mean you did get more reps in.
I have noticed, though, that they are all asking to go to the park less now that it isn't on their regular walk.
My kid's local school is out of commission for a couple of years so they are bussing. Walking was great but I also love the taking them to the bus ritual. Getting to talk to all the other parents twice a day is really nice.

I miss it the one day I do pickup.
I have the Fluent Pet Connect, I like that it logs and has a single speaker I can put where I want.

But expensive

GOOD NEWS! Researchers have discovered a powerful antibody, known as 04_A06, that is able to neutralize 98.5% of MORE THAN 300 different HIV strains AND permanently reduce HIV viral load to undetectable levels, making it one of the broadest-acting antibodies against HIV identified to date.
Which is interesting because I do wonder if we worked to make cities more accessible to people with sensory issues if they would also become better for the people from the suburbs who complain of disgust.

Because I agree, I don't think it is a thing you can target directly for this audience.
Being overstimulated sucks, but it is also a feeling that is often seen as "weakness" where "disgust" comes from a place of presumed superiority.

And I don't actually doubt that a fair number of people who are unused to them are overstimulated by cities and need that to be something else.
But needing quiet or predictable patterns would require admitting weakness.

Hating these things instead? That was manly.
I think this is tied to the whole expansion of the suburbs after world war two.

I think about how many people were trying to treat PTSD with real estate.

let's talk about disgust at cities.
I am sure the highland cattle would drink a coffee before napping on a nearby dog if they could figure out how door dash works
It has been really wonderful for us, the dog only has six words but that makes a big difference.

I am pretty lazy about training, dog could probably handle more.
My small dog has successfully identified "stranger" by hitting a button three times today.

This is a good thing because the small dog is much less likely to bark since I have given her other tools to inform me about window doings.
In addition to a "Kavanagh" stop I think there should be a "Roberts" analysis which is shadow docket order with no or minimal analysis that is also somehow expected to be applied by the lower courts.
A potentially collectable party being involved almost always changes things
