I initially thought that Unitree for Japan Mobility Show appeared to have brought one of their quadruped robots they modified to be soft and with a cat or fox animated face, turns out it's Japanese company Visionoid.

In the end the most effective form of humanoid robotics on the home market would be having a humanoid robot teleoperated by low wage workers thus eliminating immigration and labour protection. Privacy? Security? Who cared about that even since siri-alexa-alisa.

Recently AnyWit published a video of android Annie (in the next tweet) that I found to be suspicious, as it appeared there might have been some "ai generated" editing. The latest video of theirs with Annie however looks more legit.

The last time Ameca of Engineered Arts was under repairs, but now there will be a video with Ameca as well which I specifically filmed even if I’m not particularly fond of the visual design.
