i have come to notice that every time i get insta-gibbed in BF6 it's either the M4 or an SMG. and i keep getting told "well you should try burst-firing" like why should I do that, i have the longer range weapon here, THEY should be the ones having to burst fire

the setting is strangely blase about the partial occupation of New York City by a hostile army too.

"The President is flying to the United Nations to chair an emergency summit" feels an odd reaction to "the borough of Brooklyn is now considered an enemy territory"

Assuming this is true, video game dev cycles are the better part of three quarters a decade long at this point, unless they told devs five years ago that this was happening (which would have been *as* the current gen was released) neither console is going to have exclusives til the 2030s
