I had asked him so many random (and probably dumb) questions about licensing/publishing, but Matt never brushed them off and even connected us with folks when we ran into blockers.

Part of the reason MMB is so focused on indie manga is because of Matt too. Star Fruit Books had highlighted so many amazing indie works, and we wanted to follow in their footsteps.

It really can't be overstated how instrumental Matt was in helping us get Manga Mavericks Books off the ground.

He was one of the first people we went to for advice, and he gave us a ton of information that would have taken us ages to figure out on our own.
