Only a few hundred years worth of weight on their shoulders. However this is in my opinion the same everywhere, colonialist oppression or not. I rarely see women or girls littering on purpose. Men on the other hand… yes. I spot that constantly.

Valitettavasti näin. Mutta on se jännä, kuinka kukaan ei ole lähtemässä koirajahtiin, vaikka koirat aiheuttavat päivittäin vaaratilanteita ja usein näitäkin, joissa vaikka lapsi päätyy sairaalan kautta toipilaaksi. Sudet: nolla hampaanjälkeä ihmisen iholla, mutta silti ne halutaan lahdata.

Some places are more filthy than others and Dublin is definitely pretty gross as there are so many social issues that keep on going unsolved. If you can’t go to a bathroom, it’s understandavle that you defacate on the street. I get it. But there’s one thing I’ve seen here more than anywhere. 1/3

my chewing gum in a trash can while walking past a bus stop. A young man perhaps in his thirties looked me in the eye and took a nicotine pouch from under his mouth with his fingers and he just let it drop on the ground. Again, there was a trash can right there, just a couple of steps away. 3/3

Walking in different parts of the city, I see men littering. Examples: an old tourist man threw a receipt on the street when his wife was not watching. While waiting for a bus, a local old man threw a banana peel on the ground despite a trash can being just ~3 m from him. Today I stopped to drop 2/3

Tomorrow is the day when we are supposed to find out if we will see some stepping up from the platform in terms of fostering a culture where those who are more likely to receive threats simply by existing ...or if the survival of the most violent makes the rules. The latter obvs being unsustainable.

Today I spotted 5 little kids (perhaps 10 year olds) on bikes waiting for the train to pass as ut had just left Sutton station on it’s way towards Bayside. They were smiling and waving at the passing train. Please, always stay like that. Never stop waving at trains. 🥹❤️ #Dublin
