Familiar territory here as I nailed the reboot a few years back. Harder perhaps, but as fun? The flow of the game is a bit all over the shop. Still, it’s a fan pleaser and a quality strat title. Was going to play War of the Chosen, but other games have come to the fore.

Regarding 4, sure we get some hills and stuff and rousing Vulcan races etc, but it completely nullifies any escapism aspects of FH. And who benefits? I can't imagine our overseas compatriots wanting to cruise a miniature M1.

Yeah, I get it, but like you say, 4 was dour by default and that did not sit right at all with me.

I really like 3. It's probably my favourite in terms of environment, but it is loud and brash. Kinda like the original thinking about it. 2 was just quietly cool and laid back.
