Yep, yep, yep. I was perhaps one of the slower ones to get Amazon-addicted, or just my imagination. I boycotted the filthy idea of paying "a FEE for FREE" shipping for years.
Ultimately I succumbed AND went annual last year, damn it.

I let Amazon go 2yrs ago. I no longer buy crap i dont need. I do put holds on library books...the horror. As for shipping many bigger stores ship for free to their nearest store. Small businesses are worth the shipping fee which is offset by not shopping Amazon. Prime streaming is a bait and switch.

I’ve bought all Xmas presents from Amazon cause my grandkids all live far away. This year I’m shopping direct with smaller vendors. It’s more time consuming and a little more expensive, but fuck Bezos.
