I think I’ve mastered the technique to give my characters the right amount of depth even with a somewhat poor base drawing…

Now I need to learn how to add texture to/draw my backgrounds properly, or how to cheese it the same way…

Ambrose Leslie Rathford (got nicknamed Sissy Rathford because of his second name as a child. He will end you if you use it). 48 year old, slightly younger brother of Uther and River's uncle. He laughed it off when Elijah told him he wanted to open his own spa and beauty salon. And got very irritated when Elijah presented him a business plan. If...you can call it that. He couldn't let Elijah sink with his ship (He would never admit he actually likes the vampire), so he offered to co-found and co-own the business with him. Taking over all management related tasks so Elijah could do what he does best and not touch anything that could pull him in jail by one leg. Ambrose is always grumpy. Staff calls him Lord Grumpypants (because he has a courtesy title since his brother was a marquess.) He drinks a lot, rarely says anything that doesn't sound sarcastic and is irritatingly judgemental and opinionated. Ambrose sometimes mans the front desk himself because he's actually the reason they never have a receptionist. He keeps firing them for not doing things the way he tells them or straight up annoying him. Over time, he builds a strong bond with Eli and is very protective of his staff. But he'd never actually tell anyone he likes them. They know. Ambrose is an aromantic gay man, so shipping your OCs doesn't make sense unless is just casual. Otherwise go nuts. He lives at Ashwall with his brother and niece (and her partner) since he also helps manage the estate. Although, in current time, Balthazar (River's Partner) is helping a lot.
