Doing something unprecedented and dropping Body Press.

There are only so many ways I can approach this format, but until my potential Regional comes up, I’m going to do my best to find the play. Toronto is my vacation / competitive Regional of 2025, past due (I really need a vacation).
Specifically Snarl Archaludon, which was far from becoming tech until Regulation H. That concept is catching my eye.

This team never really took off to any capacity, but with the Snarl tech I am curious if this is playable into Toronto to some capacity.
This was the very first team I built for Regulation F, though I didn’t do much with it other than test it out.

I’ll never forget I was watching a Lorcy stream and he played against this exact six and he went “this is the team here. How yall get these teams, yall with the feds?”

It’s on my radar.
Seriously though, if Pokemon Champions doesn’t fix this kind of stuff for good, then I’m just going to pivot towards TCG.
Raging Bolt is actually the worst offender of a “pay to win” Pokemon in every capacity.

And it’s even worse in Regulation F, because there is ostensibly no other Pokemon worth building around or having on your team than this Pokémon.
Sao Paulo was the last Regulation F tournament of 2024. Every team (literally) is either some version of Wolfe Glick’s team, or has at least one Dragon type on it (predominantly Raging Bolt).

Yeah, if we don’t get an in-game Reg F ladder before Toronto then I’m not going to go.
This team actually spawned as “what if I ran with Wolfe’s team, but with Ursaluna-BM instead of Landorus?”

Then I realized Landorus is just better. But Wolfe’s team is somewhat questionable.

So I theorized Ursaluna + Farigiraf teams, and settled on Ursaluna + Gholdengo instead as a starting point.
Went from Wolfe’s team, to “Where’s Raging Bolt?” to this.

I’m currently trying to craft something that has a formidable power level (the way Gamefreak intended).

I’m not afraid to go rogue here. This is my vacation + competitive Regional. No limits or restrictions on this team.
I will say that it’s new information to me that the U.S. government temporarily holds on to your birth certificate during your application for a passport. While there’s a totally sensible reason for this, I really wish I was offered a warning or something to some sort of capacity 🤷🏾‍♂️
I’ve got videos like “these are the best Regulation F teams” in my feed (as if all this info wasn’t public already).

And then I come across this gem which is unsought after but incredibly solid and informative for what it’s worth, even if it’s not relevant to VGC.

5 Moves that are better in Legends ZA Than Mainline Games

Wow just realized this. Let’s go, James.
Not hating but Chimecho still needs some sort of character upgrade that isn’t a mega. And I like the design of Mega Baxcalibur, but by the way it looks it doesn’t seem true to the “aesthetic” of typical mega evolutions which I know has ruffled feathers of some mega evolution fans.
Imma say it.

I’m not hating.

Chimecho’s mega should’ve been an evolution, and Baxcalibur’s mega should’ve been its final evolution.

Playing PTCGL outside the passport office (wishing it was Pokemon Champions 😞).
Pro-tip: if you’re having issues in an office or another service desk, *always* get the names of the people you spoke to for later reference!!!
Master Ball Rank (Pokemon Sword / Shield) *
Walking these north side streets is so nostalgic every time. I used to stay over here in a motel just a period right before I left and the pandemic hit. I made Master Ball Rank on Battle Stadium with the first Incineroar-legal team in that motel.
Another big plus is that I’m starting to find my cozy spot within my current job. I’ve had to create a lot of space between myself and the people that work there, and that’s simply because I have a lot more going on than they do, quite frankly. Everyone else there with life plans has already left.
It’s not necessarily about forgiveness, but moreso about accountability. I’m finally starting to get over the trauma of 2023 for the most part. And I’m setting up to have a really good year 2026 ✌🏽
It took me two years to solidify my situation. Oh my word. My dad still owes me an apology, though. And I want to call my mom soon. After I win a regional though, probably.
