My Original Xbox sign still works 👍
Nothing like a firmware update to ruin productivity 😮‍💨

Fixed only with a rollback 🤷, guess I will wait it out
Discovering my teams age through gaming 🤣🤣

#FridayNightFunkin marquee for setups at Brooklyn Comic Con this weekend
I am feeling this custom request, hope the system turns out amazing!
I couldn't find my fancy CD player so I had to get resourceful.

🤣🤣🤣
Finished 👍. Pairs nicely with the 8bitDo retro keyboard.

It needs a better power button and I don't love the speakers on the side.

Played Oregon Trail, You Dont Know Jack and a few real wild 90's games.
The quarters would be nice but I can just jam 2 floppy disks in there to avoid the cheese slices 👍

Long-term it will become a NFC reader. Mister has ok support for dos based gaming.
Working on a few one off projects.

Here is a PI or Mister powered Macintosh system.

Finishing this one up while I make another retro tv style system
No guesses will ever be correct 🤣🤣🤣

Blame @ifixretro.bsky.social for this wonderful nonsense. Im sure he will talk about it in the next few weeks.
One of my all time favorite films.
Let it be known that today, the 12th of March, the ice cream truck has emerged from its garage and sung its beautiful song in hopes of attracting the locals. 🤣🤣
It's been a while since I have used Waterslide Decals.

Testing a few prints on an old version.

LESSONS LEARNED:

Hand cut the shape, it will turn out better than machine cut

Sand the surface a little

Expect to use a clear coat if you want it to stay on in an event environment
Another project finishing up. A series of high quality low latency 4:3 lcd screens.

Scalable to 8 and 16 units for live events!
Test fitting the laser-cut acrylic panel. The acrylic panel is optional, and I haven’t added any screw holes yet. Ideally, I’ll have a series of labels printed for the final version. The panel allows me to customize the controller for indie games
Testing dpads with super clicky cherries
NES XL? Is that a better name?

2nd revision is fully assembled and ready for testing.

Button pushes are very loud, dpad still has too much travel. Waiting on the 280g key switches.

Now to test the artwork template
Extra Large Nintendo NES controller using Cherry MX switches 🤷‍♂️

I started making a D-Pad for the giant Gameboy project and needed a way to test the motion and force. Making a large NES controller felt like the obvious solution 😃
@jeffchen.bsky.social will over engineer something to make it work together and it will be awesome 👍
