Antonblast by Summitsphere. The *other* Wariolike, but this throws any restraint out of the window; the amount of Juice™ on this would absolutely kill a victorian child. It is so extra it distracts from some of the game many qualities, like flowing level design, sharp animation and art direction.

Monomyth by Rat Tower. Very traditional dungeon-crawler-imsim while being refreshingly without grongnardiness (map available from start, unlimited quicksaves). Lovely physical interactions with the world. Very meat and potatoes, a filling meal nonetheless. And guess what? Dark Messiah kick.

Voin by Nikita Sozidar. Hyperkinetic first-person arpg with generous hitstop and melee reach and tasty dash-stop-dash combat rhythm. There are some loot shenanigans I did not care for, but I loved the open-ended exploration and Sakurai-esque pick-your-own difficulty. Also has Dark Messiah kick.

10 Dead Doves by Duonix Studios. A peculiar tank-control narrative adventure. Whole thing was done by a couple of dudes, and it very much shows, in its oddball visual presentation and amateurish yet charming voice acting; an interesting contrast with its cinematic ambitions. Symphonia by Sunny Peak. Intoxicatingly gorgeous precision platformer themed around classical music. The whole motif is very skin-deep, as the level design feels more attuned for speedruns than contemplation. Letalis by Monkiato.Pokémon with gladiators! Haven't seen this concept since Gladius.It adheres closely to that series in its identical aesthetics, which feels a bit at odds with the theme and the presence of permadeath(!).
