Not only is it Monday, it’s also Diwali! We have a comic drawn by 🏴‍☠️ for the occasion. May everyone who celebrates have a luminous day! -🐧

mafuyu is wearing a salwar kameez and mizuki is wearing a lehenga. mafuyu and mizuki are standing side by side as mizuki kneels down and lights a firecracker for diwali. mizuki states "Alright mafuyu! this is how you light a firecracker for diwali!" mafuyu then responds with her usual deadpan expression saying "I see..." mizuki runs off yelling "OKAY IT'S LIT UP! LET'S GO!" but mafuyu stays put staring listlessly. mizuki turns around concerned for mafuyu, urging her to run away from the firework so she doesnt get hit by the impact. "mafuyu you're supposed to run away! you can't just stand there! lol!" mizuki then pulls mafuyu's hand to get her to safety and mafuyu says "eh?" in a confused expression.

my bad for the yap session I saw literally one person say that it was valid to headcanon mizuki as a boy and the mizuki gears in my brain started turning. everyone else talks about it so its nothing new but its such a big problem in the fandom that I wanted to talk about it too LOL

but for some reason that's a super difficult concept for a lot of people? which is so frustrating because mizuki's story is genuinely beautiful and resonates with so many trans people, but they don't want to accept it because its "not stated canonically", even though its right there if you just read
