Christmas miracle - guy called trap15 just began working on a translation for Busin 0 for PS2, arguably the coolest Japanese Wizardry ever.

First shmup clear was Deathsmiles, sometime early 2016 when the Steam port came out. Not too much of a story behind it, just saw it come out and it looked cool and then my brain got cooked. Nice comfy easy game to start with.

I cleared a loop of Phoenix sometime before I turned 5 as I'd definitely not started primary school at the time. My folks even got me a novelty mug that played the ending tune, Beethoven's Für Elise, when you picked it up that Xmas

there's this high score keeping website called www.lvlupscore.com/dashboard and there are some shmups in there which scores are pretty miserable, so i've been busy trying to play some of them here and there
