NEW — RFK Jr.’s HHS sent out a survey asking employees to report instances of anti-Christian bias during the Biden administration, and the Dept. of Labor announced its inaugural prayer service. These are just the latest instances of Trump’s extreme Christian creep within the federal government.

This is awesome. I was too young to really appreciate just how huge an undertaking the AIDS quilt was as a tween but it felt infinitely sad and intimate. I'm looking forward to spending some time with this.
All 50,000 panels of the National AIDS Memorial Quilt has been fully digitized.

You can search Duane's name and see the panel he made. And someone else made a panel for him, too.

Today is World AIDS Day.

I remember the AIDS Quilt debuted in 1985 on the Mall in DC. The quilt brings visibility to those lost to AIDS.

We have made great progress in helping people combat getting AIDS with education and preventative measures, and treating AIDS.

AIDS has killed 44 million people globally.

Over the years, we've learned that silence and stigma are huge contributors.

Yet, the State Department sent an email to employees stating “The US Government will not be commemorating World AIDS Day this year.”
