The U.S. trains military personnel from many countries. Yes most of them are NATO countries or other allies ie Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. Qatar happens to be an ally and also happens to have a large US military base in Doho. I don’t know why the U.S. trains only in the USA.

Has anyone heard of or know about Article II Section IV of the Constitution? Apparently if that was invoked by the House of Representatives they can remove the president, VP the entire cabinet. Anyway, just a thought!!

What does she have to do with it? The US has agreements with many countries in training military personnel at U.S. military bases and the AG is not involved.

The approval for Qatar to purchase the planes was approved by Congress in 2016/2017. Despite the fact that President Trump said that the Qatari government funded and supported terrorists. Qatar will start training when Singapore leaves the AFB. Qatar is taking over that training facility.

Do you think that they are going to build an independent base outside of Home Mountain AFB? I highly doubt it. Why are there no foreign country military bases in the US? Because foreign nations do not have a need or strategic reason to place their bases there. Sir, I know it’s a training base.

Is the base assigned? I doubt the countries get to pick. Someone chose Idaho. Why didn’t they pick Shaw AFB or Holloman AFB.

Trump is very transactional and he is in it for the money. I am quite sure there are other deals made that will come out. He has given article five protection for Qatar too.

I believe it was the 9/11 terrorists were Saudis and the trained at private flight schools. I don’t know if Qatar funds terrorist groups, I know they have been accused of doing so.

Foreign nations do not have a need or strategic reason to place their bases there, while the U.S. has a global network of bases for its own security and foreign policy goals.
