Same goes for clapping at the end of a movie. No it doesn't make much logical sense as the filmmakers aren't there. But it makes EMOTIONAL sense cos those people are HAPPY. I think it's kinda sweet, pls u guys just be nice!
I have never clapped when a plane lands successfully, but I once saw a video mocking those that do and I actually cried lmao. I think it's so sweet when people express joy. Why do we have to diminish people's happiness? LET THEM CLAP

I think the debate on whether sprint is a positive feature for Halo games would be an interesting conversation if people didn't act like either option has the ability to ruin the entire franchise.

I'm really sick of basically every musician using fucking generative AI in their visuals recently. You guys have the money and resources to not cut corners. These musicians like to pretend they're super deep and thoughtful but seemingly don't think about ethics or integrity for more than a second.

The chromosome argument against trans people is so funny cos most people actually do not know what chromosomes they have. Should gender neutral terms become the default for most of the population then? Should we assume nothing until individuals can prove their chromosomes to us on the spot?

I think we just need people to recognise that following someone doesn't mean complete endorsement. Honestly even being literal friends with someone doesn't mean you endorse every single thing they say and do.
The "follow" button confounds "I'm looking at your content" and "I endorse this content." We need two different ways to signal the difference between the two.
