They don’t even put in the effort of making *good* generations. If you go on YouTube, you can find much higher quality AI videos generated by random users. But when big companies do this, the AI isn’t just a cost-cutting mechanism: it’s a rejection of quality as such.

Besides all the obvious reasons this slop is awful, the studio bragging about crunching around the clock for weeks to get something resembling usable footage out of the plagiarism engine implies it doesn't even fulfil its basic role as a labour-saving device.
