I maintain that's what the "oh well yeah if you read the Constitution then of course I can't run again" bit was about, as if it took years for anyone in his administration to find a copy of the thing.

I keep asking why the police can't just burn down people's houses while they're asleep, by the exact same reasoning. Terrorists are terrorists, right? If you can just kill people because you say they deserve it, how does that not apply here?

What's the alternative? Either Democrats stop the filibuster, or Republicans end it.

What's taking so long for them to go nuclear? They know it's just a bad look, plus it advertises that they can't blame Democrats for the results at all. They want Democrats to cave.
