what bothers me the most is seeing the very frequent argument of 'this untagged fic that i was enjoying WASTED my time once i learned that character A wasn't topping like i prefer'

'wasting my time'... as if nothing else in the fic had any real value to readers except that part specifically

SAME. i certainly have preferences to top/bottoms too tho its never a dealbreaker to me who does what. when i want to read smut, theres usually something else in the fic that made me click on it and read to the end beyond, i dunno, who gets dicked up lmao

m/m enjoyers have such a huge amount to variety to choose that i feel like its a problem i'd to love 😂 like, wow there are so many options to choose from! for rarepairs, and sometimes f/f where im just happy to even have a fic to read

as someone who tends to like niche stuff and rarepairs in fics, its a problem i never had which is why im sorta interested in seeing the discussions, which is *checks notes*

i really like hosf a lot :") it was one of my favorite year 1 events and naturally schwarz my beloved is there too.. so many fun moments in there and it was hard to just do 3 !!!!!
