My first bike in Denmark got stolen 🎉🎉

I mean partially it was my fault (I left it near the S-tog station for a couple of days)

But I honestly thought that my shitty 100€ bike won't be worth the trouble (clearly I was mistaken)
There is a new night train between Basel and Malmö 🎉

Pros :
1. New night train in Europe
2. Quite affordable at the time of ticket release (seated around 40€, bed in shared compartment starts from 150€)

Cons :
1. The train goes through Germany (meaning no way it will arrive on time)
Will it be ok if I include text in the dataset also ?

I have got some quite ambitious project to maybe train/post train some open source Visual Language Model for Danish

And slowly trying to build up the datasets/benchmarks together with @kennethenevoldsen.bsky.social

Link to the dataset: huggingface.co/datasets/V4l...

P.S. This is the v0 version of the dataset. In the future, we plan to rewrite and release the code to allow the dataset to be continuously updated

Thanks for the API !

Do I understand correctly that if the artwork is public domain, the corresponding text (about the artwork) is also ?
+ considering life time for electric batteries - currently tram is a much more climate friendly option (in addition to the fact that tram tracks are more permanent and usually allows to reduce the number of car lanes and cars on the street)
I am not so sure about the construction cost, considering how damaging the bus of this size to the asphalt below it

When I was living in Lund I saw that almost every year the municipality was changing asphalt near bust stops because of the damage that even regular Man Lions City were doing
Smart tram in Zhuzhou, China. Follows markings on the road, so construction costs are way lower. Basically bus rapid transit but with the option for huge buses.
Literally me after 4 years in Skåne fields
Do I understand correctly the trend that almost every new model in Computer vision is at least "Foundation model"

And if it is generative, then it is "World model" ?
Overall I feel like I am a hobbit that left the Shire (Denmark) and went to Misty Mountains (Norwegian fjords)
Travelled beyond the arctic circle (to Tromsø), saw Aurora two days in a row already 🥳
Thanks for the link, I might actually try and maybe use their SMK API to create dataset from open licenced paintings to be available on Hugging Face
I always knew that politicians are not required to have a relevant education to work in some specialized Ministries (like Energy/Agriculture etc)

But being a Minister of Higher Education and Science without having a higher education is borderline comical 🙃🙃
Also quite shockingly how bad is the communication between agencies, like Skatteverket (tax Agency) wrote me a letter that they sign me out from my address in Sweden almost the same day I got my new address in Denmark

Idk maybe they somehow can use that as proof that I have left Sweden lol 🤦‍♂️
To make it clear :
I have asked them to cancel my application (because I moved to Denmark and don't need Looking for work after studies in Sweden permit) AND THEY NEED PROOF
Today I took a photo with a newspaper TO PROVE TO SWEDISH MIGRATION AGENCY THAT I HAVE LEFT SWEDEN SO THEY CAN CANCEL MY APPLICATION

If I don't do that they will issue an expulsion decision (make it make sense please 🫠)
I actually got introduced to the concept of inputting "text" as "image" from this paper :

arxiv.org/abs/2207.06991 and subsequent papers from Desmond Elliot who is working on Pixel language models in University of Copenhagen
Yes I realize it might be an ASI benchmark
So I am probably slightly better then stereotypical "American highschooler who doesn't know geography", but not like by a huge margin I think
Actually I was thinking about doing something similar for US geography (since it is a more fair comparison)

I was able to name around 35 states, probably my result of placing on a map would be around 10-15 at best ->
Missed the post, but still huge congrats 🎉🎉
AGI is when models would be able to transcribe this :
Turns out Fisher random is very cool !

You can get all sorts of interesting positions (and I don't need to learn openings at all)
