Dr. Kristi Kenyon presented the chapter "Theft of Dignity: Living with Lymphatic Filariasis in Ghana" at the Prairie Political Science Association Conference (Sept 19-21, Banff). UW Senior RAs Ijeoma Okwor and Aimee Tymkin also presented their research at the conference.

In recognition of #NDTR and #OrangeShirtDay, Wesley Hall will be lit orange nightly during the week of Sept. 22 until Sept. 30. The University will also be closed Sept. 30.

Special events begin Sept. 22 with a Survivors' flag-raising at 10 a.m. on the front lawn.

We’re excited to welcome Global College alumna Katrina Leclerc back to campus this fall as a sessional instructor!

She will be teaching Concepts and Conventions in Human Rights (HR-2100-001).
(2/2) Dr. Khan is currently teaching our summer Emerging Issues in Human Rights course (HR-2600), a two-week intensive course that introduces students to core human rights concepts and, through field trips and guest lectures, allows students to explore a variety of current human rights issues.

Dr. Labman is the Executive Director of Global College and an Associate Professor in Human Rights. Although she's not currently teaching, students are always welcome to stop by Global College to say hi!

Today's professor spotlight is on Dr. Matthew Hamilton. Dr. Hamilton is a political theorist who studies contemporary democratic, legal, & critical theory.

This fall, Dr. Hamilton will be teaching Human Rights & Democracy: Conflicts & Tensions.
After years of dedicated service, Professor Ruth Taronno is retiring as the Practicum Coordinator for Human Rights.

We extend our thanks to Ruth for her commitment and the positive impact she has had on our students and community, and wish her all the best in this exciting new chapter! 🎉
