They have a suspect in custody but the news is reporting that more shooters may be involved. So many of my friends were there for HC but we’re older now and are long gone by nightfall. Nighttime activities are for the younger folks.
The night I crossed and we were in the midst of stepping and strolling, someone came to campus and started shooting. Thankfully, no one was hurt. This was December 1992. Bill Cosby and every news outlet as there the next day. It’s beyond my comprehension that we still don’t have laws to stop this!
Did you see what happened at Lincoln’s homecoming? Just senseless. My HC was last weekend and I didn’t make it but I’m just relieved that nothing bad happened on CU’s (1837) campus. Side note, I need Lincoln U folks to stop claiming they’re the first HBCU. It’s CU💙🤍
