we took a very interesting field trip to york minster with @uoyenvironment.bsky.social's sustainable business master's students a few years ago, where we learned about the many (and often unique) challenges that arise when heritage and religion meet sustainability
NEW: I wrote about British churches installing heat pumps, in some cases in 1,000-year-old buildings! Decarbonisation may not be easy, but many view it as an act of faith.
