In August, Seattle showed up for Gaza in a BIG way with its first-ever Gaza 5K: 1,700 people from the Pacific Northwest raised $700,000 for refugee children’s mental health. It was powerful. It was healing. And a reminder of the importance of community and collective action.

Since 2012, UNRWA USA’s #Gaza5K has raised millions of dollars to fund UNRWA’s life-enhancing mental health and psychosocial support programs, helping children and families cope with trauma, grief, and ongoing stress. Even through blockades, these programs continue to provide hope for the future.
