idk man. i said this about 10SF and it was true then too but like. this thing is Different. i didnt know i could make something like this. im looking at it and it just doesnt feel like a game i made by myself T_T maybe that doesnt mean its Good but its the first time in a long time i feel the growth

dogsoath has a full game loop now. title screen, moving between maps, battles, victory/gameover, all unpolished but still a huge step! been playing it on the steam deck. its my best game. where did i come up with this thing. excuse me whilst i do tricks upon it

workin on the HUD and the Relic system~ at any time during battle, instead of placing a block you can open an item menu and use a Relic to do. whatever. healing, static damage, puzzle manipulation, you name it. you equip 3 and they recharge like estus flasks

i just got lucky that i had a lot of extra time this month, games like this are meant to be played over the course of like an entire year imo. thats how i played elden ring and it was one of my fav game experiences ever! the internet and fomo has really hurt how people play long games i think

added enemy spells. not all enemies will have them, but those that do function on a clock that goes down by 1 every time you place their pattern on the board. (see the lil skull on the lower right)
