ok so there was a minor culture war 10 years ago cuz some guy unknowingly drew over Spike Spiegel with sharpie in the famous CNS stairwell. was very gay and very "calarts westoids are disrespecting superior nippon anime" and i mostly find it a funny/niche relic of of a very specific culture and time
