Yuuku preserved Mushihimesama Gaiden (虫姫さま外伝), a keitai-exclusive spinoff of CAVE's #Mushihimesama series! You walk around and throw bombs at enemies, which is a departure from CAVE's usual bullet hell shooters.

I've finally acquired both a Japanese Razr and an American Razr. What surprises me the most is how similar they look, given how unique Japanese phones tend to be. Amazingly, the M702iS is compatible with the same debugging tools as other Motorola phones #Motorola #razr

While we haven't found #MegaMan 9's i-mode port, we did find a Hatsune Miku-themed ROM hack of it... Mickman 39. It's a trial version with 1 stage. The boss is Kagamine Len. Touhou characters and even Spiderman make appearances as enemies. It's also surprisingly difficult! Truly a fever dream.

Over the weekend, @unabandonware.bsky.social preserved Kobun ga Tobun? (Does Kobun Fly?), a previously-lost #MegaMan Legends i-mode minigame. This is not an April Fools joke! This game also had online leaderboards, which are to be revived in the near future. While simple, this game is very charming.

An anonymous user preserved a COMPLETE copy of Xenosaga: Pied Piper and Lost Chronicle! Lost Chronicle was Namco's original i-mode RPG. Pied Piper was a previously-lost #Xenosaga spinoff, with 3 chapters and an original story. @valakturtle.bsky.social has already working on an English patch!

At long last, Xyz preserved Monster Hunter i for SH and Chokkan Crash Bandicoot! Crash was a motion-control game, but it allows for key controls. #MonsterHunter i unfortunately requires network connection to switch weapons, so we need different saves to restore that functionality.
