A few less people each week as we get into October. The water was surprisingly OK considering the ambient temperature was only 10 deg C. My first autumn outdoor swimming and just taking it week by week 🏊‍♂️ 🥶.

Yes we've always predicted my Dad would have a fall. He's mentally OK although physically struggling. My Mum's got dementia. It's not going to take long before the crisis button gets pressed and it all totally falls apart.

We're playing it softly-softly for the next few days to try and quieten the atmosphere down but my mum will need to get someone in again very soon to support her with her personnel care.

The frames are all the same size and it's the seat post and style of handlebars which you select for different heights. Had mine 13 years now. Definitely worth looking into and joining the club!

Loads of secondhand ones around after people bought them around Covid time. Plus there's a new G-Line with bigger 20" wheels out and everyone is after these (also very expensive). The original 16" wheeled version is the best in my opinion and definitely the most compact folder.

The local bike shop lent me a Brooks Cambium saddle a couple of days ago and today was a good test ride. They're considered the Rolls Royce by some but at £128 a shot it had to fit my arse and not the other way round. It didn't so I've 'saved' myself a small l fortune! #BrooksSaddles #Brompton 🚲 😉
