We're interested in learning how having or not having pets at home influences infants' preferences. This research helps us learn more about early cognitive development—how babies begin to make sense of everything around them! 👀

The Infant Cognition Lab at the UC Davis Center for Mind and Brain is currently looking for 7-month-old to 8-month-old BOYS with NO pets at home to participate in a brief, in-person study called the Animal Jumble Study. 🐾

Along with being an Assistant Professor, she directs the TEMPO (Timing, Entertainment, Music, and Perception) Lab. Her lab focuses on the development of prosocial behavior in music, rhythm behaviors, and infant-directed singing through behavioral and physiological methods! (3/4)
Baby Talk: Decoding The Secret Language Of Babies
To us non-babies, babbles like "ah-gah" and "dadadadada" can sound like cute gobbledygook. But they don't have to be such a mystery. We'll get a primer on how to decipher the dialect of tiny humans.

Dr. Cirelli received a BA in Psychology from Laurentian University and a Ph.D in the Department of Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour at McMaster University before continuing her postdoctoral work at the University of Toronto Mississauga. (2/4)
