Since the topic is about the Fed blocking arenas, they may have blocked Capital One arena in DC. So the first ever Dynamite was held there, but AEW has not held an event there since 2022. They used to go to DC annually but most times it is at the smaller Entertainment & Sports Arena.

Just want to say that I am dude for one and I was not on team Hanger. The idea of Hangman holding that title more than 6 months didn’t appeal to me and Swerve holding it until then didn’t then appeal to me. I was on team “Give Ospreay who he wanted” and that was Kenny Omega.

Learning that Swerve, Hangman, and Joe were sent out to not respond to MJF despite holding mics, didn’t know what MJF was about to say because he didn’t work out with the three beforehand because MJF literally showed up just when it was announced that the attendance was 11k does not inspire hope.

The problem with this thinking is that it wasn’t like they slipped. There have been reports that someone behind the scenes at NXT has been hankering to embarrass AEW transplants for months.
There's all this discourse about Mariah May and almost none of it revolves around the fact that WWE took a TV ready, former top champion of their rival promotion, put her on the third brand, and sapped most of the momentum she had from jumping in a little more than half a year. That's insane.
