it pains me a great deal to admit this, but often when I'm struggling to write, it's really me just being a perfectionist, so if I will put something ANYTHING down on a page and promise myself I can fix it tomorrow, it actually does work

I know I've reached the 75% point of this WIP because I'm experiencing the writer equivalent of cut your bangs with dull scissors at 2am panic.
what if I throw out the old draft for this section & start new? what if I rewrite the WHOLE thing in a different tense?

I think a lot of people say they want morally gray FMCs + feminine rage in books, but what they mean is only if it looks EXACTLY like what they want/expect.
So, one more time y'all are putting women in a box and expecting them to meet an invisible, unwritten standard and I AM TIRED.
