A couple of hours into Avowed, I realized I needed a break from Open World games. But now I'm back to it. First thought:
Why did they even bother with a stealth mechanic? I can spend 5 more minutes per fight to have to kill one fewer dude, or I can just fight all the dudes and have time for my kids.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

I also just finished "Out There Screaming," a horror anthology edited by Jordan Peele, and I was very taken with "A Bird Sings by the Etching Tree" by Nicole D. Sconiers, which takes the tropey spectral female hitchhiker and puts her in the proverbial driver's seat.

I'm giving up on Google, since Duo got scroogled by mid-ass Meet. Meta offerings will not be considered. Surely there are others? Sadly the SEO slop artists have me over a barrel.
