The vulnerability in Citrix used to hack the Netherlands Public Prosecution Service ('het OM' in Dutch) is a memory safety vulnerability. To me, this is not acceptable in 2025.

We started work on sudo-rs in 2022, with Ferrous Systems, for Prossimo. In 2024, sudo-rs moved to Trifecta Tech Foundation. We're still working on it: maintenance, improvements, and readying for various distributions, of which Ubuntu 25.10 is the biggest milestone so far! 🥳
