The wood does whatever it wants (wich is rarely what I want) but project house keeps growing steadily! 😁

Every time I think I figured out how to glue wood pieces together I manage to create a new completely deformed mess 🤣
I can’t wait to paint this thing and watch it spontaneously twist in itself because of the moisture!
(Good thing it’s an abandoned house and has not to be straight 😝)

I have a love hate relationship with Miniart kits… the plastic is always super hard, cracks easily, the parts are ridiculously small and everything needs tons of cleanup (especially if the nubs from the sprue is half the size of the part)
… but they have lovely stuff like this 😂

I recently got a second display case, it’s mostly empty right now but I put the guys inside so they don’t get damaged while I work on the toilet.
They make me smile whenever I walk by on my way to the coffee machine 😂

So I heard you can cut balsa Wood with a knife.... apparently I am too weak to cut 5 mm balsa.
What is faster?
Starting with Fitness studio or buying a saw?
A small circular saw would probably be best, except I find all kind of electric saws incredibly scary 😂

Finished my two guys! (Maybe I add some dirt later) they are not very photogenic. You can really see the lack of detail and bumpy surfaces up close but with a little distance? They look great and I really like how they turned out 😁

Finished a small square of dirt (I missed dirt!) and gave the two a zenithal primer coat.
They are not as detailed as resin figures and I don’t want to sound rude but the painted example on the icm website did not look that great… 😅
But now I kind of want to know if I can do a better job 😝
