De regering gaat 'illegale' migratie hiermee niet oplossen. De manier waarop zal in praktijk namelijk zelf illegaal zijn (wegens het omzeilen van Europese regelgeving). En dit enkel om de achterban van N-VA en Vlaams Belang te paaien.

In 1984 fotografeerde Salgado de hongersnood in Ethiopië en hoe mensen in Tigray tot die hongersnood gedwongen werden door luchtaanvallen en voedselblokkades.
40 jaar later gebeurde het opnieuw in Tigray. En ook in bv. Soedan en bovenal Gaza gedogen we nog altijd dat mensen uitgehongerd worden.

There’s solid evidence that thousands of people in #Tigray died of starvation. There are no good statistics for the numbers who died. The best guess is that from 2020 to 2022, more than 375,000 starved, along with scores of thousands more who died as a result of the collapse of health services. 5/

Hopelijk gaat een groot deel van de extra defensie uitgaven naar het soort defensie dat bijdraagt aan het opruimen van oorlogsvervuiling. Ontmijningsgenie, DOVO, constructiegenie, medische component,... België kan op zo veel vlakken bijdragen op een vrede bevorderende wijze.
